A trio of Single Cask Single Malts celebrating The Dalmore's long-standing partnership with the finest winemakers of Portugal, Grahams Port. The 2024 release is the second chapter in the series that celebrates The Dalmore’s whisky making artistry and the role played by exquisite casks sourced from the world’s finest winemakers, in the creation of the iconic Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Limited to 150 sets worldwide, the second release explores how the rarest of Port pipes can enhance and complement the signature characters of our whiskies.

Dalmore Cask Curation Port Series II

The Dalmore 40 Year Old is a ‘triple-matured’ single malt whisky that was matured in ex-Bourbon casks before spending seven years in Sherry butts used to age González Byass’ 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso, and finally returned once again to first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels. It is presented in a decanter designed by French crystal house Baccarat, featuring Dalmore’s 12-point Royal Stag emblem. The whiskey was created as part of The Dalmore's continued celebration of Master Distiller Richard Paterson’s 50th anniversary in the whisky industry, with a total of 750 bottles of Dalmore 40 Year Old released world wide.

The Dalmore 35 Year Old single malt has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels, Port pipes and Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, before being married in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels.

The 2021-edition of The Dalmore 30 Year Old Single Malt has been matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and finished in tawny port pipes which previously held Graham's 30 Year Old Tawny Port.

First released in 2013, the Dalmore 25 is matured initially in American white oak before a second maturation in a combination of Palomino Fino sherry butts and first fill bourbon casks. These are then married together in bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Tawny Port pipes.

Joining The Dalmore Vintage Collection, a cracking 2003 vintage single malt, drawn from hand-selected casks resting in the distillery's sandstone warehouses. Built around a core of single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks, the expression is enhanced by parcels from ex-Rivesaltes sweet wine, ex-matusalem, ex-amoroso, and further small batch bourbon casks. Bottled in 2022, this well-sherried dram makes an impressive addition to the collection.

Dalmore Vintage 2003

A delightful dram from Dalmore, this one joins its Vintage Collection and showcases some of the finest 2007 vintage whisky to be found in the distillery's historic sandstone warehouses. A selection of ex-bourbon matured single malts are complimented by expressions finished in a range of ex-matusalem, ex-apostles, ex-amoroso, and ex-Marsala casks, expertly married in a cask, and bottled in 2022. An exceptional expression, proving that 2007 was a rather good year indeed.

Uigeadail (pronounced ‘Oog-a-dal’) is Gaelic for “a dark, mysterious place." Named after the distillery’s water source, this whisky is a marriage of sweetness, spice and deep smokiness. The peat-laden waters of Loch Uigeadail provide the smoky tones in this whisky, while maturation in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks imparts rich, warm flavours – perfect for a dramatic, stormy night. But the true secret behind Ardbeg Uigeadail's success? A unique vatting method that marries the deep, smoky notes from ex-bourbon American oak with the luscious, raisin-like character of ex-sherry Oloroso casks.

It is acknowledged by oilskin-clad locals and Gore-tex®-sheathed visitors alike that the Ardbeg Distillery can be subject to alarmingly fierce winds, driving rain and eerie coverings of haar. However, these frequent weather events would be far more extreme, were it not for the presence of the Mull of Oa. Topographically speaking, the Distillery is sheltered from the harshest excesses of the mighty Atlantic by this rounded peninsula in the south of Islay. This vast, jutting promontory is the inspiration for Ardbeg An Oa! Like the Mull of Oa, it is noticeably rounded. This is due in no small part to a spell spent in Ardbeg’s newly-established Gathering Vat. Within the vat we gather together whiskies from several cask types - including; sweet Pedro Ximenez; spicy Virgin charred oak; and intense ex-bourbon casks, amongst others - where they familiarise themselves with each other. The result is a dram with smoky power, mellowed by a delectable, smooth sweetness. Hallmark Ardbeg peat, dark chocolate and aniseed are wrapped in smooth, silky butterscotch, black pepper and clove, before rising to an intense crescendo of flavour.

Ardbeg Ten Years Old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance.

In early 2017, Glenmorangie launched the Grand Vintage Malt 1990. The first release in the Bond House No. 1 Collection and therefore actually the successor to the 25yo Quarter Century. In this Bond House series we now welcome the sixth release, the 1996 Grand Vintage Malt. After the 1990 in 2017, the 1989 in 2018 as well as two travel retail releases and the 1991 Vintage in 2019, it is time for a 1996 Vintage in 2020. The 1996 Grand Vintage Malt is 23 years old and has fully matured in first fill bourbon casks. This limited edition was bottled at the end of 2019 at 43%, non-chill filtered and without the addition of colourants. This is a limited edition of 10,150 bottles.

Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1996

The Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1997 is like wandering the spectacular cellars of Chateau Montrose. Vivid with red fruits and candied sweetness, this whisky’s eloquence is a beautiful beacon for our kaleidoscope style. The whisky’s smooth spirit was distilled in 1997, two years into Dr. Bill Lumsden's time at our Distillery. On his quest to bring different tastes to the world, our Director of Whisky Creation had begun restyling every aspect of our whisky making, dreaming of an evermore expressive Glenmorangie. Already Dr. Bill had altered the spirit cut, the moment at which our spirit is taken from our stills, to accentuate its fruity finesse. And captivated by the possibilities of wood finishing, he had started exploring how rare wine casks could shape our whisky’s taste. Laid down in the finest bourbon casks, the spirit of 1997 would inspire one of Dr. Bill’s rarest experiments with wood. And after nearly a decade of careful ageing, he transferred a parcel into Château Montrose red wine casks. So exclusive are these casks, that Dr Bill could source only a handful from the celebrated Saint-Estèphe appellation of Bordeaux. So intense is the hue of the wine they once held, its rich colour is reflected in the wood of this whisky’s case.

The Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1998 is like embarking on a transatlantic journey from the world of classic bourbon, to the sherry bodegas in Jerez, both finessed with virgin new charred oak. Rich with vibrant fruits, smooth toffee, and ginger, this whisky’s eloquence is a symbol of our elegant, experimental style. The year this whisky was distilled, there was a fresh air of enthusiasm at the Distillery. Having joined Glenmorangie some years before, Dr. Bill Lumsden had just taken charge of all Glenmorangie’s whisky creation. And he was bursting with ideas for evermore delicious whiskies. Dr. Bill was particularly eager to explore the wonders new charred oak barrels might bring to Glenmorangie’s soft, fruity spirit. And so he earmarked a handful of carefully crafted casks, tailormade to enrich the Distillery’s single malt. By charring the virgin wood of these bespoke casks for the first time, Dr. Bill hoped to create a striking style of single malt, intense in colour and spice.

As Dr. Bill, our freethinking Director of Whisky Creation, enjoyed a cup of his favourite Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, the notion of Signet first came to him. At once his mind filled with spiralling mocha flavours that he could not forget. It would take him years to bring our unprecedented whisky to life. But in its tiramisu tones and melting chocolate, you can taste his most delicious imaginings. Signet begins with our precious chocolate malt spirit, made just once a year in our giraffe-high stills. Its espresso-like intensity fills our Distillery with aromas more familiar in an Italian coffee bar. Over the years, we temper its power with rare and treasured casks. Bourbon for creaminess. Sherry for sweetness. The spice of virgin charred oak. All balanced by some of the oldest whisky we own.

Like the golden edge of an autumn afternoon, The 18 Years Old is a dazzling, luminous whisky, balancing sweet and floral lushness, with rich marmalade flavours, honey and fig.

Inspired by his memory of entering a French pastry shop, Dr. Bill Lumsden first brought a whisky of dessert-like complexity to life in Glenmorangie The Nectar D’Or. Now, he has taken its swirls of sweet scents and spice to new heights of deliciousness, in our award-winning Glenmorangie The Nectar. Sauternes and Monbazillac casks from France bring sumptuous notes of pastry, brioche, meringue and baked apples. Moscatel casks from Spain offer sweet, syrupy dessert-like notes. And Tokaji casks from Hungary, add white chocolate, almond and honeycomb flavours to their creation.

Glenmorangie Nectar D'or

Dr. Bill, the Director of Whisky Creation of Glenmorganie, was born with a taste for adventure. And with this single malt he sought to create a whisky as unpredictable as his travels. Quinta Ruban is a whisky journey into the wild – a dark and delectable forest where the wind whistles with gusts of peppermint and dark swirls of chocolate can happen at any moment. In the giraffe-high stills, it begins soft and fruity, then gets darker and deeper as they let it age for 14 years in bourbon casks and port casks from Portugal. The finished whisky is a thicket of voluptuous flavour combinations. Walnut and black pepper. Mandarin orange and melted marshmallow. Dark chocolate bar and peppermint. Like stepping into a chocolate-minty-orange unknown, the journey is as delicious as the destination.

Glenmorangie 14 The Quinta Ruban

In every corner of the world, the setting of the sun is magical, mused Dr. Bill, the Director of Whisky Creation and an inveterate traveller. This whisky is Dr Bill’s attempt to bottle the magic of sunset, with its endless horizon of reds, oranges and purples. The Lasanta begins with the giraffe-high stills, which yield a deliciously delicate and fruity spirit. Next, they mature it in bourbon and sherry casks for 12 years, transforming it into a mouth-watering odyssey bursting with rich spiciness and sun-drenched sweetness. It radiates with raisins, honeycomb and chocolate-covered hazelnuts lightened by cinnamon breezes.

This deeply sweet and nutty small-batch release is the first Glenmorangie ever to be finished in rare Palo Cortado sherry casks. Aged for 12 years, it brings a new elegance to the Highland Distillery’s delicate style. The single malt spent its first 8 years mellowing in American white oak bourbon casks. Then, delighted by that whisky’s smooth, soft character, Dr. Bill was inspired to finish a select batch in Palo Cortado casks, never before used at Glenmorangie. Palo Cortado is the rarest variety of sherry, created purely by chance, when the protective ‘flor’ yeast does not form on sherry intended to become Amontillado.

Crafted to extract maximum flavour through bold and extreme 28-years long secondary maturation with a final, innovative finish in precious Solera casks of Zacapa XO and Zacapa Royal rum for a decadent single malt expression. Inspired by the decadence of this rare single malt and its indulgent layers of flavour reminiscent of dark chocolate and rich plums, neuroscientist Katherine Templar Lewis explored a new concept, ‘Sensorial Maximalism’, where our sensorial consciousness can be heightened through the curation of our external environment. Crafted to extract maximum flavour through a bold & extreme secondary maturation with a final, innovative finish in precious solera casks of Zacapa XO and Zacapa Royal rum. Maureen and her team painstakingly hand-selected and then harmonised slow crafted whiskies from European oak casks and Refill Ex-Bourbon casks, which had been resting in our private reserves for over a quarter of a century, then masterfully marrying the final liquid in American Oak casks. The Singleton of Dufftown is distilled in the Dufftown distillery in Speyside, the heart of malt whisky production in Scotland. Whisky has been distilled at the distillery since 1896 and from fermentation to distillation we do our utmost best to ensure every drop of spirit is the highest quality. The Singleton of Dufftown has an aroma of toasted nuts with rich fruits, with hints of blackcurrant, brown sugar and coffee on the palate – before an elegantly drying and crisp finish. Representing The Glenlivet’s signature style, The Glenlivet 12 Year Old single malt scotch whisky is first matured in traditional oak, before spending time in American oak casks that impart notes of vanilla and gives the whisky its distinctive smoothness. The mineral-rich water that comes from Josie’s Well helps form the flavours during mashing and fermentation, whilst the specific height and width of the copper stills add a delicate yet complex character.

The Glenlivet 15 Year Old single malt scotch whisky gets its distinctive rich and exotic character from a process of selective maturation in which a proportion of the spirit is matured in French oak casks. In fact, at The Glenlivet they one of the first to use French oak for making whisky, a technique that has since been imitated the world over. The Limousin oak they use is cut in France’s Dordogne region, where it’s often used to mature cognacs.

This rich expression has been named ‘Parliament’ after the colony, or ‘parliament’, of rooks that have been nesting in the trees that overlook the GlenDronach distillery for almost 200 years.

The Yamazaki 12 Years Old Single Malt is comprised of meticulously selected malt whiskies all cask-aged aged for a minimum of 12 years. This 100th Anniversary special limited-edition bottling was created in honor of Suntory Whisky's centenary. Part of the Yamazaki family, Japan’s quintessential whisky, it is made in Japan’s first and oldest malt distillery which was founded in 1923. Yamazaki means “mountain cape”, referencing its unique geographic location – secluded amongst a range of forest covered mountains. The Hakushu Distillery blenders work with peat, while softening the palate using the exceptional mountain water of the area, filtered through ancient granite rocks. Refined and elegant, this centennial Hakushu Peated Malt brings smoke that is less strong, never dominant and in typical Japanese style, more complex and gentle. Mars Whisky proudly presents Tsunuki The First the very first single malt from its second distillery opened in 2016 on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan. Until now, only single malts distilled in Shinshu had been aged in Tsunuki's cellars for subsequent bottling. Aged in Bourbon barrels, this new Single Malt reveals a nose rich in citrus fruits with notes of vanilla and fresh bread.

Created at the Shinshu distillery, having started distilling again since 2011, is a blend of single malts from at least two distilleries; Shinshu and foreign distilleries. The 15 Year Old has notes of fresh hay, dried fruits, citrus and rosehip on the nose, with gentle sweetness and a hint of tropical fruit, cinnamon, vanilla and apple on the palate. Glengoyne 15 Year Old

Glengoyne 21 Year Old

Matured exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks for a quarter of a century, this unique malt is an important addition to the Glengoyne collection. This bright amber beauty has red fruits, leather and brown sugar on the nose and soft oak, cinnamon, stewed fruits and a Seville marmalade tang on the palate. The finish is very long with spicy liquorices. The malt is presented in a new heavy bespoke bottle and outer box. The bottle features a fine metal stopper, crafted cartouche and delicately branded neck tag and is attractively displayed in an oak box interior which includes an engraved plinth. The elegant exterior has a refined feather pattern subtly varnished on the pack.

A very limited release of only 402 bottles of one of Glengoyne’s oldest whiskies ever released.

The GlenAllachie 10 years old 2011 Ruby Port Pipe Cask NO. 7446 is specially selected for The Art of Drinks 2022. This GlenAllachie was distilled on October 25, 2011 and has matured in Ruby Port Pipe Cask. This was bottled in July 2022 at cask strength of 56.6%, non chill filtered and without the addition of colorants, as a limited single cask release of 858 bottles.

GlenAllachie 8 Year Old

From Batch 2 of the Virgin Oak Series, this exceptional malt was first matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels before undergoing additional maturation in casks made of Chinquapin Oak (Quercus Muehlenbergii), which is sourced from the Northern Ozark region in Missouri for approximately 18 months. The casks were air dried for almost four years, then toasted to medium level before hosting the spirit. The result is a complex, zesty malt bursting with runny honey, sweet cinnamon and orange peel.
