Product details

18 years of maturation precede the selection of casks for Talisker 18 Year Old. The Skye single malt gained international recognition when it was named World's Best Single Malt at the 2007 World Whiskies Awards.

Notes

Fruit and toffee soften smoke, coal and tar. Sweetness stays present as peat builds, ending in a moderately long finish with a distinct chilli warmth.

MADE BY THE SEA

Talisker began at Carbost in 1830, after the MacAskill brothers arrived on Skye from Eigg. Facing Loch Harport with the Cuillin hills behind it, the distillery endured fires and changes of ownership while keeping the island as its home.
