Product details

Talisker 10 Year Old is double distilled on the Isle of Skye and matured in American oak. Its 10 years of ageing continue the established method at the island distillery, which began making whisky in 1830.

Notes

Dried fruit and smoke lead into sweet barley malt. Black pepper builds steadily, leaving a long, warming finish with persistent peat.

MADE BY THE SEA

Talisker began at Carbost in 1830, after the MacAskill brothers arrived on Skye from Eigg. Facing Loch Harport with the Cuillin hills behind it, the distillery endured fires and changes of ownership while keeping the island as its home.
