Product details

Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara Tsukuriwake matures exclusively in Japanese mizunara oak. Each component spends at least 18 years in these casks at the first malt whisky distillery established in Japan.

Notes

Dark cherry, peach and cinnamon lead into spiced chocolate orange and incense. Clove, sandalwood and dried coconut extend through a long finish.

THE YAMAZAKI DISTILLERY

Shinjiro Torii established Yamazaki near Kyoto in 1923, choosing a landscape and climate that could give whisky a Japanese identity. Its water and production methods laid the foundations for the country's first malt whisky distillery.
