North American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks are used to mature Bowmore 25 Year Old. A quarter-century in the two cask traditions gives this Islay single malt its age statement and places it among the older expressions in the distillery's collection.
Notes
Intense sherry and stewed fruit give way to toffee and hazelnut. Sweet peat smoke runs through the palate and lingers on a long, mellow finish.
