Old Oloroso sherry casks were selected for The GlenDronach 29 Year Old Grandeur Batch 12. This numbered Highland release continues the limited Grandeur series, introduced in 2010 to showcase older reserves from the distillery.

Notes

Raisins, dark plum and cocoa give way to treacle and cherry brandy. Espresso, tobacco, sherry and walnut add depth to the long finish.

MATURED IN SHERRY CASKS

GlenDronach builds its craft around sherry-seasoned oak, drawing on Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez traditions from Andalucía. The casks mature in dunnage warehouses, where the team follows their progress before selecting spirits to marry.
