Product details

First released in 2013, The Dalmore 25 is matured initially in American white oak before a second maturation in a combination of Palomino Fino sherry butts and first fill bourbon casks. These are then married together in bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Tawny Port pipes.

Notes

Exotic fruits, marzipan, vanilla pods, treacle toffee, fig cake and sweet balsamic. Orange peel, chocolate truffles, liquorice, sweet damsons and sherry soaked raisins. Demerara sugar, maple syrup, bitter chocolate, and spiced gingerbread.

Alexander Matheson founded The Dalmore in 1839. When the Mackenzie family took control in 1867, they placed their stag on its bottles, creating an emblem that still recalls those who helped turn the Highland distillery into a lasting name.
