Five long-aged whiskies from Mizunara, Spanish and American oak form Hibiki 40 Year Old, selected by Shinji Fukuyo after three generations of maturation. A thirty-faceted Kagami crystal bottle with gold lacquer and mother-of-pearl maki-e holds this Japanese blend.
Notes
Dried fig and yuzu introduce sweet acacia honey and roasted cacao. The texture is smooth, with incense, cinnamon and mizunara oak carrying the finish.
