Octomore 14.2 matures in Oloroso sherry and Amarone wine casks before a final stage in French oak. Part of the fourteenth series from Bruichladdich, this Islay single malt explores a different cask combination from the American whiskey casks used for 14.1.
Notes
Dry oak, spice and smoke surround coffee, barbecue and pepper. Fruitcake, apple and pear add sweetness before malt, smoke and sea salt remain on the finish.
