Tasting notes

Silky texture that coats the mouth with banana, berry jam, malt biscuit and classic sherry oak depth. Pleasantly long and balanced with ground spice, dried fruit and soft Scottish tablet – finally unveiling the merest wisp of peat smoke.

DEDICATED TO SPEYSIDE

The Tamdhu distillery is nestled in the Speyside whisky region, in the northeast of Scotland. The area is famous for whisky production thanks to the fertile glens and the River Spey which runs through it, making it the most densely populated whisky region in the world. They have been using water that flows into the River Spey in their whisky making process since they were established in 1897. They work with the Spey Fishery Board in improving the River Spey and local woodland for wildlife. They are proud to have recently launched the Tamdhu Fish Pass Project which allows migratory fish to have an easier journey to their spawning sites.
