The distillery overlooking the Sound of Islay produces Caol Ila 18 Year Old, matured for 18 years. Founded in 1846 near Port Askaig, Caol Ila takes its name from the stretch of water separating its island home from neighbouring Jura.
Notes
Soft sweetness is balanced by salt and gentle acidity. Charred oak develops across the palate and continues into a lingering finish.
