Fettercairn 22 Year Old matures for 22 years in first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels. Before maturation, water runs down the outside of the copper stills to cool them, a distinctive part of production at this Highland distillery.
Notes
Banana, citrus and plum develop into raisin, fig and gingerbread. Pear, caramel and orange are followed by coffee, liquorice, cherry and treacle.
