Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve comes from Japan's first malt whisky distillery, founded in 1923. Bottled without an age statement, it brings together selected cask-matured components from the Japanese single-malt reserves.

Notes

Strawberry and cherry meet raspberry, white peach and a touch of coconut. Japanese oak adds depth to a clear finish of vanilla and cinnamon.

Shinjiro Torii established Yamazaki near Kyoto in 1923, choosing a landscape and climate that could give whisky a Japanese identity. Its water and production methods laid the foundations for the country's first malt whisky distillery.
