Ron Barceló Blanco matures for up to 2 years in oak barrels before charcoal filtration removes its colour. The Dominican rum therefore combines time in wood with a clear presentation, making the filtration stage central to this expression.

Notes

Green banana and white pepper introduce a mild palate. Cinnamon and pink pepper add spice, with gentle fruit sweetness against a drier background.

Barceló established a local following in 1950 with the launch of Blanco and Dorado after years of experimentation. Exports to Spain followed in 1994, taking the Dominican family name into a market that would become central to its growth.
