Louis Roederer Cristal 2002 blends Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from a warm, steady season, with partial oak ageing. Created for Tsar Alexander II in 1876, Cristal comes from a dedicated vineyard estate built up by the Roederer family since 1841.
Notes
Cocoa, toasted hazelnut and candied citrus lead into white chocolate, caramel and pastry. The concentrated palate is silky, with freshness and a fine bitter edge on the finish.
