Rare Grande Champagne and Borderies reserves meet in L'Essence, including eaux-de-vie dating to the early 20th century. Courvoisier combines these historic stocks with later cognacs chosen to represent the distillation and ageing methods.
Notes
Sandalwood, tobacco leaf and summer flowers on the nose; toffee, marzipan and honey on the palate. Liquorice, dried plum and apricot linger, with a full yet delicate texture.
