Grand and Premier Cru Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier form Veuve Clicquot Cave Privée 1995, held for extended ageing. The house acquired its historic chalk quarries in Reims in 1909, creating the cellars where its vintage reserves mature.
Notes
Orange preserve and peel meet candied fruit, white pepper, dried flowers, marzipan, honey and caramel. Mirabelle plum, stewed pear, toast and beeswax fill a broad, rounded palate.
