Part of Barceló's Rare Blends Collection, Porto Cask starts with juice from estate-grown Dominican sugarcane. After maturation in toasted oak, the blend receives an additional stage in casks that previously held 10 Year Old tawny port.

Notes

Fig jam, dark berries and dried cherry meet butterscotch and subtle wood. Silky and gently sweet, with a long, lingering finish.

Barceló established a local following in 1950 with the launch of Blanco and Dorado after years of experimentation. Exports to Spain followed in 1994, taking the Dominican family name into a market that would become central to its growth.
