Planteray XO 20th Anniversary marks 20 years of work by Alexandre Gabriel as Master Blender. Older Barbados rums mature first in bourbon casks on the island, then spend further time in small Ferrand French-oak casks in southwest France.

Notes

Chocolate and vanilla meet ripe banana, roasted coconut and fresh mango. Smooth and layered, with a notably long finish.

ALEXANDRE GABRIEL

Alexandre Gabriel discovered Maison Ferrand in 1989 and immersed himself in its Cognac craft. His later travels through the Caribbean led him into rum, applying the same attention to production and ageing across a different set of places.
