For its latest Limited Edition of Hennessy XO, the Maison collaborated with the great master of light and glass, French contemporary artist Jean-Michel Othoniel. Inspired by the notion of raw material faceted by time-honored savoir-faire and Time, the artist here revisits the emblematic Hennessy XO decanter like a jewel in the rough.
Tasting notes
The palate is warmly embraced by flavors of candied fruit. The intriguing sensation of an intense, rising heat slowly reveals the complex taste of eaux-de-vie patiently aged in oak barrels. Perception of a strong spicy cognac note, tantalising the lips and palate with its distinct peppery flavor intertwined with a hint of chocolate.
