As a special homage, Frapin is dedicating an exceptional cognac to its illustrious ancestor, Maître Francois, ‘Plume Frapin’. The decanter is exquisitely decorated with golden calligraphy. Plume Frapin is a hymn to voluptuousness, resting in an exceptionally luxurious carafe, made by the famous ateliers of l’Orfèvrerie d’Anjou. A skilful balance between tradition and design, the decanter symbolises the unique link between Frapin and its illustrious ancestor. Two delicately designed 24 carat yellow gold feathers adorn the carafe and the cork. The exceptionally clean design of these carafes and use of uniquely elegant materials invite to a dreamlike tasting.
Tasting notes
It offers a shimmery, velvety, burnt orange colour. The bouquet is powerful and complex. Notes of dried apricots, fig, orange, liquorice. Notes of tobacco and cigar box appear in time in the glass. On the palate, Plume offers sensual candied fruit, prunes and wood aromas with a characteristic rancio with an exceptionally long finish.
