Product details

De Kuyper introduced Dropshot in 1996, creating a liqueur based on Dutch liquorice. Both the name and the dark bottle presentation refer to the ingredient at the centre of the original recipe.

Notes

Sweet liquorice meets a bitter edge and distinctive salmiak. The flavour is concentrated, with a lingering salty-liquorice finish.

DUTCH DROP

De Kuyper introduced Dropshot in 1996, taking the Dutch taste of liquorice into the bar. The name keeps that connection visible: drop is the Dutch word for liquorice. It is a small piece of everyday Dutch food culture in liquid form.
