Older reserves from ex-bourbon American white-oak casks are selected for Brugal Extra Viejo. The Maestros Roneros blend these Dominican rums to create a separate expression from Añejo, with the choice of mature reserves defining the release.

Vanilla, caramel and honey lead into sweet spice and cocoa. The finish is long and warming, with a peppery edge.
