8 years in selected American white-oak barrels define Borgoe 8 Year Old. The Surinamese rum is assembled from casks chosen by the Master Blender, then filtered through charcoal before bottling, giving it a clear age and production sequence.

ORIGIN OF BORGOE

Borgoe takes its name from Mariënburg, the former sugar estate in Suriname's Commewijne district. The first Borgoe Gold was introduced in 1982 to mark the estate's centenary, tying the brand to a specific place in the country's rum history.
