Product details

Selected grapes are sun-dried before three distillations produce Yeni Rakı ÂLÂ. A period in oak barrels follows, adding a maturation stage to the grape-and-anise spirit and distinguishing this expression within the Yeni Rakı collection.

Notes

Intense anise leads a rounded, mellow palate. The aromatic character is concentrated, with a long finish and a gentle sweetness.

TEKEL ERA

Yeni Rakı emerged from Turkey's state-run Tekel era. Its name means 'new rakı', marking a new chapter in Anatolian craft. The brand later passed to Mey, carrying that history through the end of the state monopoly and into private hands.
