Oak-barrel maturation distinguishes Tekirdağ Gold Series. Suma made from fresh grapes is distilled with aniseed in copper stills before entering the casks, which give the rakı its gold colour and a separate maturation stage.

Notes

Anise remains central to a mellow, rounded palate. The texture is smooth, with gentle warmth on the finish.

Tekirdağ Rakısı starts with fresh grapes, fermented and distilled into suma. The grape spirit then meets anise in traditional copper stills. That second stage is where two agricultural ingredients become the foundation of Turkish rakı.
