18 years of ageing shaped Noble Brut Vintage 2004. Lanson blends Grand Cru Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs with Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims, without malolactic fermentation, for a mature extra-brut champagne.

Notes

Lemon, mirabelle plum, pear and bergamot meet frangipane and honey biscuit. Hazelnut and pastry round out the palate, finishing with apricot and candied orange.

Lanson's first Noble vintage was 1979, building on a house history that began in 1760. Grand Cru vineyards and long cellar ageing define the project, with each release reserved for a year the winemakers judge worthy of that patience.
