An early, warm season followed by a cool summer shaped the 2011 harvest at Krug. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier were selected for the vintage blend, which aged for more than 10 years before release.
Notes
White fruit and citrus meet basil and menthol. Pastry and stewed fruit give the palate roundness, followed by smoky and herbal notes, with sea salt and grapefruit zest on the finish.
