Malt wine, the grain distillate central to traditional Dutch jenever, makes up more than half of Bols Corenwijn 2 Year Old. The spirit matures for 2 years in French oak casks before bottling.

Notes

Malt and sweet oak lead into cinnamon and honey. A soft texture carries the grain character through to a subtle, gently herbal finish.

START OF BOLS

The Bols family began distilling in Amsterdam in 1575 and added genever in 1664. Herbs and spices arriving through the city's trading routes shaped their recipes, linking the spirit to a port where new ingredients were part of daily life.
