A richly smoky release from Ron Abuelo over in Panama, as you may have guessed Two Oaks has been matured in two different types of oak cask. Aged for over a decade, initially the rum was rested in bourbon barrels before it was transferred to heavily-charred virgin American oak for a finishing period.
Tasting notes
Delicately smoky aromas of oak, vanilla, coffee and roasted almonds fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of sweet-and-smoky spices, roasted coffee beans and cola nuts.
